1. 100 Complete "New Directions 97" Survey, compile and publish results..
2. 0 Hold 2nd Annual Award/Membership Banquet (October 1998).
3. 100 Become incorporated.
4. 100 Work on the development of New Middle School.
5. 100 Market and Attract new businesses for Parkway Center upgrade all vacant lots.
6. 0 Submit and Secure grants for community development and public safety.
7. 100 Formalize business watch.
8. 100 Seek improvements to the intersection of Jahnke and Hi Oaks Roads to Improve traffic flow and safety. Eliminate potholes and flooding on Jahnke.
9. 100 Publish "the Loupe" on a regular basis..
10. 100 Have an election of officers to fill all vacant offices with "proactive" members.
11. 100 Consider what improvements are needed for Jahnke and B!iley Roads.
12. 100 Determine what businesses JRCDA would like to attract (or dissuade) to our commercial area. Work with the City of Richmond Economic Development Department, Wilton Properties, Food Lion, Inc., and other concerns to enhance our commercial area.
13. 100 Conduct a Personal Safety Seminar with ColumbiaChippenham Hospital for fall 1998. Have this seminar well publicized (in conjunction with area apartment complexes, neighborhoods, etc.) in order to attract several hundred people. Public Safety handouts to neighborhoods.
14. 50 Secure a Welcome/Beautification sign (AdoptASpot) sponsored by Richmond Clean City Committee and JRCDA should be placed along Jahnke Road.
15. 100 Conduct a New Membership Drive.
16. 0 Have a pedestrian walk installed between Food Lion and Parkway Shopping Centers.
17. 50 Have additional sidewalks/bus shelters installed on Hi Oaks Road  Carnation Street.
